Due to certain financial difficulties I have not been able to bake.

It is for this same reason that I have decided to hold a bake sale.
If you follow my personal blog, you already know the deal. If you don’t, in short my dad is a deadbeat alcoholic, has been unemployed for four years, has spent all our finances on alcohol and if something isn’t done, my mom and sisters won’t have a roof over their head for much longer.

All of my own limited finances are going into this bake sale and however much I can afford into putting into what needs to get paid. Please give me some ideas as to what you would like to be seen sold at the sale or what you think would be a big seller.

I need to also start mailing out goods again except this time charging for them.
Pleasepleaseplease, your help would be very much appreciated!

Hey, everyone! My name is Clare, and yes I stole my URL from my favorite Interpol song.

Thanks for stopping by! I tend to bake often and have been thinking about possibly pursuing it. Inspired by a few other Tumblrs, I figured I should create a blog devoted entirely to baking.

So here's the plan: Throughout this summer project, I plan on trying to bake at least every other day and will post whatever I happened to have baked. I take requests and already have a couple lined up, so you are more than welcome to suggest anything through my Ask box! I’ll post the results with the recipe and/or adjustments I made to the recipe, and I’ll dedicate that BEAUTIFUL day of baking to your BEAUTIFUL face.

If all goes well, maybe I will keep this project going into the fall! Spread the word!
